Being in the construction industry, the client wanted to get an HVAC coordinated model and a clash analysis report for a 19 storied commercial building. They were in search of an outsourcing partner who had the expertise in creating HVAC models and could complete the project within the expected deadline.
Revit Modeling Solution from BOP
We received the pdfs of the HVAC system, AutoCAD files of the HVAC drawing systems, Naviswork drawing files for the architectural files, including the floor plans and the designs. A team comprising of ten members began to work on the project, dividing the project into seven milestones working on 2-3 floors simultaneously. We studied the entire set of drawing to be familiarized with the requirement and started with the top-down model – from the 19th floor to finish within the timeframe as the basement model was complex. Then we started the drawing and modeling in Revit, checked the clashes, and created the coordinated files in the Naviswork. Finally, we submitted the coordinated Revit files to the client within the timeframe of 950 hours.
